Joel has over twenty years of experience practicing in both larger corporate firms and as a sole practitioner.

Having received his call to the Law Society of Manitoba and the Law Society of Upper Canada, he is well-versed in inter-provincial matters. Joel completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Winnipeg and earned his law degree from the University of Cardiff in Wales. He completed his Canadian legal education at the University of Manitoba.

Joel is the senior counsel and one of the founders of Lyon Stern. As a senior counsel, he is primarily responsible for regulatory compliance and finance. Joel also provides legal services on business immigration matters as well as property and estate services for new settlers.
