Before joining Lyon Stern, Michael accumulated over twenty years of international corporate experience in Asia, Central America, and Europe. Michael was one of the original pioneers in the online gaming industry navigating complex regulatory compliance matters, and is very experienced in working with multinational businesses and international entrepreneurs.

He received his law degree from the University of Toronto after completing his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Winnipeg. He is a member of the New York State Bar and the American Bar Association, as well as being registered with the Canadian College of Immigration Consultants and the Law Society of Ontario.

Michael is the managing director and one of the original members of Lyon Stern. As the managing director, he is primarily responsible for business development and operations. He currently limits his practice to inadmissibility, refusals, humanitarian applications, removals, and other complex cases.
